The Zaans Museum on the Zaanse Schans is situated in a modern building. The industrial design of this building is as unique as the museum collection which details the history of the region Zaans.

Verkade Pavilion: come to Verkade
The Verkade Pavilion: a story concealed in a magnificent collection. The famous album picture cards, Verkade products, advertising, messages, photos and film images that all reveal the story behind 100 years of chocolate and biscuits.
Hearing, seeing, tasting ......
In the Verkade Pavilion you will find yourself in a factory from the early 20th century where authentic machines continue to run and where history is brought to life. It is where the famous 'Verkade Girls' went to work and where waxines, chocolate and biscuits were made.
